NASM certified personal trainer and corrective exercise specialist, training clients for weight loss, general performance, hypertrophy, maximum strength, power, and sports related performance. My credentials were attained from the National Academy of Sports Medicine, the industry leader – the NASM Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) credential is the most respected personal training certification in the health and fitness industry. I specialize in 1-on-1 personal fitness assessments and custom designed exercise programs according to a client’s fitness goals, time frames, and fitness assessment results. One important job I have as a personal trainer is designing one’s fitness program around a client’s fitness assessment and goals to achieve the best possible results and is the most important step in the process of program design. Building a personal relationship with my clients as quickly as possible allows for the ability and opportunity to design programs they will enjoy performing and progressing to increase their fitness results. Listening to my clients and providing solutions or answers is crucial to building a relationship with them and moving forward with their fitness journey. In addition, knowing a client’s health history, career, and lifestyle, allows the client’s program to be developed to prevent injury, stabilize weak and over active muscles, increase endurance, strength, and power. I have been in the fitness industry for 6 + years and truly enjoy coaching and educating individuals in regards to their fitness and nutrition goals. As a result, clients not only are improving their physical abilities through cardio respiratory, weight resistance, and fitness nutrition training, but more importantly their emotional well-being and confidence levels. I have a deep passion for seeing others achieve their goals through their fitness program, and it is very fulfilling and drives me to help others continually. As an overall thinker, entrepreneur, exercise program designer, and personal supporting coach, I take pride in continuing my education daily to provide the most up to date information on new techniques, exercise trends, fitness nutrition, and exercise related products.
Why I became a trainer
I developed a passion for personal coaching after transforming my own body, lifestyle, and nutrition choices in the summer of 2008. The transformation allowed me to enjoy my family more and take part in activities I once avoided, due to being overweight, poor muscle condition, and lack of muscle. I realized I had a desire to help others attain this same feeling of freedom, enjoyment, and accomplishment of conquering a challenge. This renewed feeling of being healthy and feeling good is one I strive for daily and love sharing with all. My goal as a personal trainer is to help motivate, inspire, support, and educate others in order for them to achieve their goals and feel good both in body and mind. Therefore, my client’s fitness goal is my priority.
Where I Train
As an independent personal trainer, I train clients at Zach’s Club, in Lubbock, TX, client’s homes, and their personal gym facilities. Zach’s Club is located at 4229 78th Street and 7105 Kewanee Avenue, Lubbock, TX.
